This is where legends begin. The FIM Hard Enduro World Championship welcomes THE NEXT GENERATION a feature documentary following the riders who will define the future of the toughest discipline in off-road motorcycling.

A Full Season Of Story
The main production runs across the final five rounds of the 2026 championship, beginning at Forza Orza in Sweden (20–22 August), then Abestone in Italy (4–6 September), the Roof of Africa in Lesotho (24–26 September), Sea to Sky in Türkiye (8–10 October) and the 24MX Hixpania Hard Enduro finale in Spain (23–25 October).
The story does not start there, though. Content already captured across the opening three rounds, the 24MX Alestrem Hard Enduro in France, Extreme XL Lagares in Porto, Portugal, and Silver Kings Hard Enduro in Idaho, USA, will feature in the film, setting up the championship picture and the rivalries that the closing rounds resolve.
French mud, Portuguese city streets, Idaho mountains, Scandinavian forest, high-altitude Maloti peaks, a Turkish summit and a Spanish season-decider. Nowhere to hide, for the riders or the cameras.
The Racing, The Pressure, The People
The brief goes beyond results. THE NEXT GENERATION sets out to capture the racing, the pressure and the people behind the finishing positions, the part of Hard Enduro that timing screens never show.
There is real substance to the theme. The 2026 season introduced a new Youth World Cup for riders aged 14 to 20, sitting alongside an increasingly competitive Junior class currently led by Ashton Brightmore, who is also fourth in the outright championship on 49 points. The pipeline into the sport's top level has never been more visible, and the film arrives at the moment that generation starts converting potential into results.
Behind The Camera
The documentary is being produced by HEWC & Foolhardy and Tom Dalais, embedded with riders and teams across the final five rounds of the season.

Filming begins at Round 4, Forza Orza, at Orsa Grönklitt on 20–22 August, the first FIM Hard Enduro World Championship round ever held in Sweden, and a fitting place to start a story about firsts.
