The FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC) confirms updates to the 2026 calendar, as part of its ongoing commitment to delivering a strong, balanced, and sustainable championship for all stakeholders.
Abestone Event Rescheduled
Round 6 of the championship, originally scheduled as Abestone Rodeo Miravalle (Italy) on 10–12 July, will now take place on:
4–6 September 2026
The event will also be renamed Abestone Hard Enduro, while continuing under the same experienced organisation.
Located in the region of Tuscany, in the town of Abetone, the event will continue to build on its strong foundations, with significant local support and a passionate fanbase expected to attend.
Wildwoods Extreme Withdrawn from 2026 Calendar
HEWC regrets to confirm that Wildwoods Extreme Genoa, originally scheduled for 12–14 September 2026, has been removed from the 2026 calendar.
Due to circumstances outside the control of both the local organiser and the championship promoter, it has not been possible to proceed with the event this season.
The championship would like to thank the Genoa organising team for their efforts and professionalism throughout the planning process and remains committed to working closely with them, with the aim of returning the event to the calendar in 2027.
A Balanced and Sustainable Approach
HEWC acknowledges that calendar adjustments can impact riders, teams, organisers, and partners, particularly within a global championship environment where planning and logistics are critical.
These decisions are taken with careful consideration of the entire championship ecosystem, including riders competing across all categories.
The championship apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the continued understanding and support of all stakeholders.

The 2026 season remains a strong and diverse championship, featuring world-class events across multiple continents.
Further updates regarding the calendar will be communicated through official HEWC channels when appropriate.
